I am convinced, that people do not necessarily need to pay for good software and I just include services (in the internet). I just read an article of a popular blog, in which the author explained his (opposite) view about this and lists three examples, which he is (willingly?) paying money for. If I take a look on the current development of different software sectors, I sometimes think about the future of Microsoft. If you take a little closer look on the latest post-alpha well tested releases, you may understand why Yahoo is now to be accquired: Weiterlesen »
Because I luckily have a very nice Canon 350D, and I try around with around with it once in a while, I wanted to try out something new lately, and read something about HDR images. The first pictures with the right setting in the camera were made very quickly, and a nice motif found as well. From the garden in Niederau, you have a very nice view on the city of Meißen.
Don’t expect the pictures to be something high class, but I think they are not too bad as a first try. However, it takes some minutes, even on my MacBook Pro, to render those images!
Too much talking, I know, so: here are the pictures:
Who doesn’t know it: the telephone computer. When you call a bigger company or governmental institution, you surely already talked to one. That’s okay, theres nothing negative about this natual, passive of computer usage, but the absolutely most annoying things are computers calling me! When you pick up the phone, a freindly female voice welcomes you, saying: “You have received an important message…”. Then, you are asked to have something to write ready next to you, and then she says: “You have won…”, “…the prize is assured to you…”, “…please call the following number…”. I guess nobody is fooled by this, right? As this is just disturbing to me, I decided to not pick up the phone if the caller doesn’t send his number. It’s just some insurance agent in most cases – or not even a human!
I just added some really nice badges to my blog, but there was none for the mootools. So I created one myself:
